What do we think about Tom Ford, lads?

>> No.13762076

great perfumes, i like the shades, and a lot of good designs that dont have logos, some pieces are solid shit, but solid brand overall, in my opinion at least...
dont know if the price tag is worth it tho

His Frags smell horrid to all except online fragrance autists who think smelling like and old lady is the way to go.

I don't rock Tom Ford, I pop molly

Tom Ford's eponymous label is an A-Z lifestyle brand in fashion and it's very successful. I don't really care for it. Yes, stuff looks good but then again you can find better and similar things cheaper. Many seem to enjoy his tailoring and formalwear but I'm not too impressed. English/Savile Row inspired with Italian construction. I do not like the cuts at all and they don't look that great on me. Suit quality is obviously great but it's memed to oblivion. Tom Ford tailoring is not top of the line. With high fashion there's always overpricing but Tom Ford's suit prices are very excessive. 5 grand for a suit? Lol. Plus a few hundred and you can get bespoke from Cifonelli or damn near any suitmaker on Savile Row and it'll fit you perfect and look exactly how you want it to look. His ads are extremely cringy too.
His womenswear is much nicer than men's, if you ask me.

Tuscan Leather, Noir de Noir and Plum Japonais are masterpieces. Not that any of that should be credited to him, he had nothing to do with the creation of those.

I like a lot of his clothes, granted, the price for any of his pieces is not worth it, maybe if I get unbelievably wealthy I'd buy from him

Optician here, his eyewear is solid. I dispense Tom Ford every day.

>> No.13763823

Great eyewear, luxurious clothes with great quality, some times overpriced
Overall 8/10

Cool runways and really good eyewear. His menswear isn't my style but I like some of his suits and his womenswear is often really good

I like the glasses, good quality with a distinctive yet discreet logo.

The clothes are classy but too safe.
It reminds me of Ralph Lauren purple label or Hugo Boss (whatever label is their priciest)... pricey, classy but generic.

The glasses are very nicely designed but the quality isn't as great as the design or price, lol. I have pic related and I think that those are the nicest along with the metal frame ones, like the Ryan. I've tried on most of them and the cheaper acetate only ones feel like crap. For instance, the Leo's are trash. The pricier ones feel a bit better. If I didn't get a good deal on mine ($220] I would've bought Moscot, Mykita, Garrett Leight, Salt or even Dior.
