If you see it this way, there is nothing to argue about. There is no set political opinion within neofolk, but I always understood it as being in essence anti-modernist and anti-urban.
Fascism is apart of the traditionalist elements a very modern ideology with great focus on structure, organisation and statehood, therefore neofolk has a place in fascism as a counterweight to the modern world, but it does not so well in the opposite direction because some aspects of fascism work too much against the tree-hugging cornfield romanticism that is in many cases very strictly anti-modern.
