I am rather baby-faced and I don't think it suits me. I like the clean-shaved look either way so I feel a little jealous when I hear guys complaining about their beard being sparse because I don't like my beard shadow. I wish I had k-pop singer-tier facial hair actually.

I'm 18 and I just have a really thick beard (had a full one since I was 15). I don't see it as much of a fashion choice and more just when I don't have any plans and don't need to look cleaned up sometimes I let it grow, since to be clean shaven I need to shave at least every other day. Every few months I'll have a beard for a while when I can't be assed to shave, and I'm lucky enough that I have a decent looking, non-patchy one.

I also live in Scandinavia so idk if that changes it but it's not that big a deal to have or not have a beard here when compared to how people talk about it on 4chan.

My dad can't grow a beard and my granpa on my mothers side was bald with 20 but rocking a lumberjackbeard with ~ 18. I only wash myself with soap (hair included) and it keeps everything nice but without that horrible shampoo look. Go for some soap that doens't attack your skin and something with alot of oils and maybe some milk. It's worth it.

I've got sideburns & a small stache/goatee combo, I used to have really long hair & a clean, effeminate looking face but turns out my face only looked girlish because of the way my hair framed it. Now that I'm rocking some shitty Taxi Driver mohawk I can finally see my face in it's full glory, & while I don't think I'm bad looking, I think without facial hair I look a serial killer. The stache & stuff makes me look a bit friendlier so I'm gonna stick with it, would never ever get a full beard though, the maintenence just seems annoying
