A girl I know is a pretty high tier hair stylist and she told me something that stuck with me and I thought I'd share it with you:

If your hair is cut in a way that it needs more than 3 minutes of styling to look good you have the wrong cut.

At this point anything you do will look forced and not natural and that will basically make you look like a dork who's trying to hard.

I'm NW3 since 14 dude. Haven't progressed further (21 by now) but I go with it. My hair is medium lenght and very thin so I just use some volume foam, taft carbon texturing paste and hair spray to get a messy look with my temples hidden to a certain degree.

Yes, it sucks ass and can kill your coinfidence if you're on le 4chin but I'm at least 6'4 with nice eyes. If shit goes further to a degree where no styling does help I gonna buzz it but by now it works. If you're sperging too hard about it people will notice since coinfidence and character is what defines a man.

it's shoulder length so its basically done without doing anything most days.

a few squirts of hairspray and its done in under a minute.
