It's personally a little bit disappointing but the I like the idea they were going for. The multiple rehashed looks are a let-down (especially the shirt from S/S, didn't really like them), and a lot of the outerwear pieces are just boring (outside of the down jacket). I do, however, enjoy the colours that they're releasing this time. The pink melange is REALLY nice, and although I preferred the brown from A/W 2017, the orange/gold mock neck T-shirt is perfect for autumn.

The looks in the lookbook are seriously the best out of all of the collections - their colours are eye-catching and bold, and the vibe is fuego as fuck.

I'm on the fence about most of the pieces, but these catch my eye the most. Excuse my uniqlo autism

Personally I hate when turtle necks don't have the cowl part covering the seam where it connects. Of course when you try it on you might be able to adjust it, but really not a fan that their model pic/how they constructed it shows the seam. It doesn't add a point of interest to me, just makes it look cheap/poorly thought out.

That being said turtle necks on males definitely seems to be gaining popularity as the next "thing"

So the old flannel feels thicker but as far as I can tell - maybe it doesn't way very much more. I can't weigh it exactly but holding either I on my scales I weigh the same, suggesting they're within 100g of each other.
The older one has nicer buttons and it has different pockets.

I bought their wide-fit wool trousers last year.

Fit: Relaxed throughout and slightly tapers towards ankle. Not particularly wide though, just a looser fit compared to straight-leg. Decent drape. Unless you have v. long legs, expect to get them hemmed.

Material: 70% wool-blend was fine for price. Feels a bit rougher than 100% wool trousers, but still comfy.

Composition: They will be thinner than you expect. Good for me, but if you are sensitive to cold you may want a thicker pair.

Design: Deep pockets, zip-fly and belt-loops. Zipper looks and feels cheap. Has a white contrast lining, which I like. Smart enough to wear with derbies, as well as trainers.

Overall: Although thin and being made of a wool-blend, it's sturdy enough for daily wear. Recommend them if they will be your first pair of wool trousers, but they aren't special enough to buy if you already have a quality pair imo.

I personally always dry clean wool garments, even wool-blends, when I want to properly clean them. I tend to follow labels very closely, so I don't handwash unless it explicitly says so.

However, wool is more odour and stain resistant than other common fabrics, so they only need to be dry-cleaned occasionally (once every few months).

Spot-cleaning them between dry-cleans is fine. Just use a bit of water to get rid small stains/ dirt. As long as you aren't sweating a lot or exposing them to strong odours (e.g. cooking), they will still feel good for multiple wears.

Last season I bought two sizes for each item that I want, and return the ones that don't fit. They provide free return, so it's easy.

So I went out and checked this parka out. Seems all right. Looks a bit more muted irl.

I'm not sure whether to get M or L. L might be a touch too long in the sleeves for me, M might be a touch too short but probably closer to perfect length.
L gives me more room through the body. M is a trim fit but not necessarily bad.
Will probably go L.
