Is the beard too scraggly to work? I know this place is typically pretty against facial hair but I was planning on growing it out since I don't really like how I look clean shaven so idk.

Yeah that's what I was planning on doing if I do actually grow it out. I've never really liked my chin/jaw so hopefully that can help add some definition. Haven't grown it any longer than this in a while so maybe it'll just look like trash but we'll see.

I’ve been wearing my hair like this for years because I have a straight up five head. I've always had a big forehead and a receding hairline, and it has gotten worse, but I think my hairline tends to be not as obvious when I've got longer hair on top. I've been wanting to grow it back out but don't know if my hairline is too far gone or if the receding hairline in general makes it look like I'm coping too hard.

Pic on left is 3 years ago where you can see hairline pretty clearly, middle is 6 months ago, right is 3 months when I decided to shave it, where hairline looks real bad. Hair's about half an inch longer now and hairline doesn't look that exaggerated but obviously shaved shows where it's growing most densely. Can post a current pic if helpful.
