Don't display so many DVDs like that, their spines aren't as neat as books and because of how uniform they are they can easily make a shelf look boring.
You can have a handful of them out on display, but I'd put the rest in a tv cabinet.
The corkboard by your laptop looks really cluttered and way too deep into the wall, I'd bring it back a few inches.

Yes, it's teak. Was very lucky and got them second hand for a bargain price, they're usually pretty expensive when in this good condition! The table in the first pic and the wall shelves in the bottom right pic are also teak, but the tables condition is a bit rougher, but I'll attempt to gently sand and oil it, hopefully that'll give it a face lift.

You should clean the mold, just buy some bleach and spay it in the morning before you leave for work. The majority of it would be gone after the fist spray , but you will still need to repeat the process couple more times. Just make sure you have a window open so it won't smell at night. At the end just repaint the wall.

My biggest action item for right now is getting an actual desk chair, and move the chair in pic related back into the right corner behind the camera where it belongs. Thinking about getting a plant and maybe a mirror.

I'm generally cautious about hanging shit on the walls but if anyone has some good recommendations, I'm open to it.

Super light and nice, a mirror would work well. It look like you've got a really tall ceiling so a tall plant like kentia palm would work well I think.
If you're worried about hanging things on the wall but want to decorate them more you could always get standing shelving

This is my current idea for decorating it, furniture is placeholder but of roughly the same measurements. Moisture is the cause of fungus, UV kills it off though.
I have the same camera (Yashica 124g yeah?) and the lens cap is fucking ugly. I keep it on as I use the camera but I can see why you would take it off to display or take a photo of it.
