Questions that don't deserve their own thread thread.

Pretty new to /fa/ , need some help with silhouettes for myself & gf who are hopeless with style. Somebody shed some light on what we should be looking for in clothing? I'm hoping to buy some clothes for her birthday & don't know where to start.

GF: Pale, long naturally superlight blond (currently died red) hair, 5ft 4, Pear body shape, C cup, also very broad shoulders.

Me: 5ft 8, white, brown hair V shape , thicc neck, very very broad shoulders & thin waste that make me look comically disproportionate.

I have wide feet and i've been unable to find a pair of trainers that fit well between most of the big brands. They're either too long or too wide, especially if i'm wearing a sock that isn't paper thin. People recommended Ultraboosts but same problem, if I size up enough that it's not super tight then I can practically roll the toe up with all the extra room.
Should I just deal with it, stop wearing socks, or what?

they aren't too slim through the leg so it won't accent your THICC thighs so much. for other brands, look for the "slim straight" offerings. or you could try a tapered jean if you want to try a relatively roomy thigh but a bit more fitted in the lower leg

I was looking up a Levi's denim jacket that I own to compare sizing with another one I want to buy in a different brand and the model is 6'1" wearing a size medium. I have the same jacket and it's an XL, which fits me perfectly and i'm barely 5'10". Is it because I have broad shoulders or what?

I'm a literal poorfag; I'm so poor it's not even funny at this point, it's just sad.
Unbranded socks without any marking are very cheap, much cheaper than branded ones or ones with something written on them.
I could get a very large pack very cheaply but then I wouldn't know which socks are mine and which are those of my family members (my dad's and my socks get mixed up all the time, and my sister has big feet so unbranded socks also tend to get into the mix and I hate that).

How can I mark my all-white socks so I know they are mine without damaging them?

I need some wide fucking shoes.

I've heard Pureboosts fit like a dream, but the NMD_R1's knit was too tight for my bulky feet, and the base itself felt like I was slipping off it because it was too narrow/small. They're cheap, but I'm not sure how varied those shoes are between styles. I tried 4E Lebron Soldier XIs recently too, and those were too tight around the outside of my forefoot.

I'm thinking Jordans might be worth a shot while I grab a pair of Monarchs for the time being. Heard some good things about NB247s, Prestos, Low Dunks, Kyries, and EQTs, but I really don't feel like exploring every shoe under the sun, so any sort of detailed recommendation would be really appreciated.

How do I make my hair less greasy?
I like my hair very much and people normally compliment me because of it. It's straight but it has it's own 'style' on the ends (it doesnt fall straight down) but I have to wash it every morning or else it's just too damn ugly (it gets too greasy when I wake up). Is there anything I can do about it or should I just accept it and keep washing it every morning?

*I'd love any tips on how to have a better hair since all I know/do to care about my hair is shampooing it and brushing it.

The reason I ask is I have a pair of Strong Dungarees, and they're holding up well, save for one or two frays on the belt loops. Those worry me, because I've only had them for ~2 months. I've always had a big forehead and a receding hairline, and it has gotten worse, but I think my hairline tends to be not as obvious when I've got longer hair on top. I've been wanting to grow it back out but don't know if my hairline is too far gone or if the receding hairline in general makes it look like I'm coping too hard.

Pic on left is 3 years ago where you can see hairline pretty clearly, middle is 6 months ago, right is 3 months when I decided to shave it, where hairline looks real bad. Hair's about half an inch longer now and hairline doesn't look that exaggerated but obviously shaved shows where it's growing most densely. Can post a current pic if helpful.

My hair looks it's best after a few days of not washing it. Also I have only been washing it with water most of the time and maybe using shampoo and conditioner only once every week. What do you guys think about slim fit t shirts?

I’ve always worn them and pretty much my entire t shirt collection are slim fitted, but recently I’ve gone off then as I’ve started to put on a bit of a muscle and now they are pretty tight and they make me look goofy. I’ve always thought slim fitted t shirts were pretty a much a staple for good fashion but I’m thinking regular fit might be the way forward for me. First, for dress clothes. Wearing a shirt and dress pants necessitates a belt. The exception to this would be the addition of a sportcoat or suit jacket. Since coat or jacket covers up the unused loops along trouser waistband, so it okay to skip belt. Some claim a belt should never be worn with a suit, but as the fashion forward sans belt look seems better saved for social events where you'll be wearing a suit, than for conservitive business meetings.

In casual clothing realm, with jeans you pretty much never have to wear a belt with a tucked in shirt. I tuck in a shirt with no belt every time I put on a pair of jeans. Learned years ago in grade school jeans fit without a belt, so have worn them that way ever since.
