I had Gibson Thunderbird bass, but a few years later I sold it to my friend.
It wasn't really comfortable to play on. The neck was too heavy.

Then, having listened a lot to Black Veil Brides, I bought this one.

i bought a couple artcores to hand on the wll because i loved the f-holes and the flat finish and darker wood

i play them on rocksmith occasionally but idc about them that much


i bought one of them used and it came with a hard guitar case, "tkl" brand or some shit

i ripped the lining out of it and put my ar-15 in it

the little guitar case has a lock for a suit case so it meets the legal requirement for california to transport a registered assault weapon

also neighbors don't give a shit when they see guitar cases

Classic designs are the most effay, partially because of their history.
Strats, Teles, and Les Paul's are like the Stan Smiths of guitars, absolute staples.

Personally I really like jazz boxes, especially the older ones. Nothing can beat a good ol all solid west German carved arch top with cat eye sound holes.

If you want a more exotic silhouette then pic related is pretty nice, a 1978 Gibson Marauder.
It wasn't a top of the line model back then hardly even in their B tier, but quality wise it's on par with if not better than most modern Gibsons. I'd play a marauder rather than a 2014 LP any day.
Also on a side note, if you want to cop one then they're surprisingly affordable, very good for their price, but make sure they have their original pickups. Apart from a standard Gibson humbucker (with a clear plastic covering) on the neck the bridge pickup is really something special. A Bill Lawrence humbucker that looks like a single coil, I thought it was a proto-p90 at first, and boy oh boy does it howl, absolutely fantastic little pup
