hi /fa/ is one of these the right way to dress for Italy, I want to have a bit of a war or history touch to it but also an urban detail, combining this with Dr. Martens and probably this belt, or hopefully a small fannypack just to keep safe from pickpockets, what do you think other than I should wear pants under

Over the camo dress and the belt? Probably not.
I just noticed that it matches your ring though, and I think what was ticking me off about it is more that it's too long than that it doesn't refernce any other part of your outfit. Best way to make it work without accesorising too much would probably be black boots.

Think about shortening the belt.

You need a broader belt with a coat like that, as you would have e.g. with a trenchcoat. The thin belt makes it look unbalanced, and the belt from the OP does not fit in terms of style
