Only eating 500 for long periods of time will do that to you, bit there are things you can do to make it better.
Make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals, bc 500 cal is so low you’ll need to take a supplement with your meal.
Avoid caffeine. Caffeine inhibits the uptake of a lot of vitamins. Caffeine can also make you dizzy and light headed on it’s own.
Try eating/drinking something light if you feel lightheaded or like binging. Skimmed milk is good. Celery, salad, broccoli or other low calorie vegetables also work, just don’t put dressing on them.
Get enough water

Don’t exercise when you’re eating that little. Walking is max.

They will calm down if you eat satiating food (fats and protein, no sugar) physically.
Mentally they will stop if you keep a positive mindset rather than a strict one.
I am struggling with binging and purging more regularly now, and losening up and taking care of my body's required nourishment usually does the trick. A few day of relaxing and super slow or no progress beats fast progress but then putting it back on through stress and b/p. c:

I think it really depends on the person and the contraceptive. I went on it to stabilize male/female hormone imbalance and it immediately gave me hips and tits I didn't want, and I've dropped 5 pounds on the scale (not actual fat) just in the 3-4 days since stopping it. You enjoy sugar, because you eat it.
I really recommend quitting it, because your cravings for it will go down. The hormone insulin will be released less often and massively, making you burn fat more efficiently and keep your appetite/hunger down because your blood sugars are more stable.
And by sugar I mean all sugar actually, added or natural from fruit.

Avocados, nuts (macadamia, almonds, pecans, walnuts, cashews..), seeds (chia, flax, hemp..), tahini, natural nut butters and similar foods are a nice way of adding mostly fats to meals, next to just healthy oils (coconut, olive, walnut, linseed...) of course.
