Why do white people, and non-negroids in general pull of Americana way better than black people? Whenever I see a black person wearing Americana, it automatically is seen as a soy flag. Every other race pulls it off way better.

These are pretty close to why it looks off. Americana uses a muted, desaturated color palette. It doesn't overpower or wash out pale skin tones. The darker the skin is the more vivid color you can pull off, plus the less impressive muted tones look.
The other issue is the sillouette, it's a very retro style that looks like a costume on someone that doesn't have classic square jawed good looks. If you look like Paul Newman, or James Dean it doesn't look as out of place, but someone with completely different features in just looks off. It basically breaks the fourth wall and doesn't deliver authenticity, it basically looks like you dressed full greaser with a T birds jacket and pocket comb. Corny as fuck
