Forget what you look like, the main thing that'll dictate how others see you post-cut is how you behave. Sheepishly laughing at your own decision and self-defensive self-deprication are what will really kill your look.

I shaved my head on a whim 2 years a go, and I am NOT someone who does things on a whim. In hindisght I didn't really suit it but I also found it freeing and therefore didn't give a shit about how it looked. Now I'll never ponder what it would be like to to have buzzed my hair.

No one of any actual human-value would have the fact that you've changed your hair style weigh on their mind in their day to day life. It's just a hair cut, do it.

No, as I said, in hindsight it wasn't great. It wasn't that it made me ugly but it didn't suit me either. I'm now growing my hair out long.

first time I buzzed my head I suddenly realized I spent my entire life having no idea what actual shape my head had or that I had scars n shiet.

In either way I think you should go for it because showering with a buzzed head for the first time is worth it on its own.
