I wear something shorter than a midi skirt, IF I could cover my waist with a cardigan, jacket, or tied sweater. I feel this applies to shorts too if they are looser and you can add layers to make it look better suited for a modest style.

otherwise I will wear a maxi skirt in hot weather if the fabric is breathable.

Same. My entire wardrobe exists of H&M, Primark, F21, heck aliexpress even and I'm not even ashamed of it. Call me a pleb all you want, but I'd rather look cute and have enough money for various things than look cute and have no money for food, rent, college, bills etc etc

The same has happened me too! I find skirts much more comfortable to wear so I usually only wear pants when I'm cleaning or running.. The only downside is that I'm a bit worried that my skirts get worn out faster since I wear them so much, especially the ones that have pockets~

I shop ebay, etsy and second hand auction sites, also sew and draft my own patterns. I have a set color palette, rather than a style that I stick to.

Right now my two biggest problems are getting my weight back to 150 pounds and figuring what to do with all my lolita, jane marple pieces.
