Uniqlo is a collaboration with Japanese fast fashion brand Uniqlo and French designer Christophe Lemarie. Set to release on October 5th online and the 6th on all stores.

What does everyone hope to get on this release. Nothing really grabs my attention, might get the tote bag though.

I read some press preview and someone commented that the wool pants are as good or better quality than CDG. I don't know how true that is but for 60 bucks I'll take the risk.

The shoe sizing was weird and incorrect last time. I fit an 8.5 US, but it also says EUR 43 on the tongue, which is like a US 10. I usually wear between a 9.5 and a 10 depending on the shoe. I don't know how accurate it will be now.

Given the style of Lemaire and Uniqlo U, I would say go TTS, because it will be relaxed anyway.

Can someone tell me which number is the sku? I want to get a few more like this because of sale. But not sure which of these numbers is important. They have 3 types of slim fit Chino and they all look the same from the website. Don't have time to go to the store before the sale ends.

I'm the same size and I don't really have problems with their clothes, most of their pants are 34 inseam except for ankle-length pants which are like 32, though I do find that their slim and skinny pants are too tight on my thighs but I have big thighs. I've never had any problems with shirt lengths whether it be supima tee, airism, or broadcloth shirts they haven't been too short but last year I did buy a corduroy shirt in my normal size and it was a bit tight in the shoulder blade area.

So yeah length hasn't been an issue for me, but some things are too slim for my big guy build.

Last fall they had nylon Uniqlo U sneaker, then canvas ones in the Spring. I found all of them on sale for $10 each. I got 2 canvas hi ghtops, 1 canvas low, and 1 nylon low. They're great. I keep a clean pair, and the rest are beaters.

Value to quality, they're the best shoes I've ever had. I had a bunch of Tretorn sneakers in the past, $70 each, and they all fell apart within a few months.

is there a link to the sizing? im a tts M but uniqlo M sweaters always wash to be way too small, tho the sizing for this collection is "loose fitting". Think sizing up is a risk or just go with the M

Def copping the wool pants, along with the blended jacket. Thinking about some of the sweaters and the tee shirts in XL

In the same boat. Reliably M for pants but I’m usually a size 3 (or even 4 for visvim jackets) Japanese.
Do what I always do with these things: buy both potential sizes and return the one that doesn’t fit the best to your local Uniqlo

Uniqlo stuff isn't amazing or anything but it tends to be pretty fucking good for the price, both in fabric and construction. I buy from them all the time (I live in Taiwan and it's hard to find other stores that carry clothes that fit westerners) and I've never bought something from them that ended up looking like shit once I got it home, or that wore out in an unreasonable amount of time. I'm rarely blown away but I've never been less than satisfied.

I bought a Uniqlo denim jacket years ago for like $30 and I'm still wearing it.

There is still sizes on things at least for me.
Kinda surprised everything sold out but it's really fucking solid stuff, probably the best Uniqlo "collab" so far
Was thinking of picking up a tee later but I don't really mind if they don't have them anymore.
I really like this down jacket as well, though the Anderson collection also had really solid design for one. Kinda wish they had done the flannels in wool but oh well.

I used to wear a lot of the qlo. But really the shirts are a bit shit (with tiny collars) and bigger outerwear is either made of plastic or has annoying functional cuff buttons. It's good for the price but really (especially after 21) you should be spending more on clothes. And if you think you can't afford it just buy less.

Their vintage chinos are p good though

I went to a Uniqlo store in Socal and you guys don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Uniqlo was selling men's cardigans for 50 fucking dollars a piece. A FUCKING THIN ASS CARDIGAN. Pants? same fucking price as Levi's but with less quality.

Uniqlo is basically a chinese version of Forever 21/H&M without any logos or prints on anything. It's basically a store for asian men fresh off the plane.

I think I was more likely to spend a shit load of money on clothes closer to when i was getting an allowance. As much as I'm interested in fashion, I'm happier wearing clothes that cost less. Paul Smith suits sitting in my closet, unworn, Stephan Schneider sweaters all folded up and never put on. But I wear UNIQLO every day so what's the point anymore?

A global release of these clothes, with pretty much enough for every customer to get what they want....can you fathom how many units that is? There's also only a small middle ground for material quality. After a certain point the name is what's adding to cost. Uniqlo is probably the best you can get at the price it is sold at. Usually at this price, the quality would be much much lower.

Yeah the uniqlo u stuff from last winter was huge. There was that bomber that I remember kept going on sale since people would buy it and then immediately return it. I tried it on at a store, the M fit like an XL or something absurd. Their summer collection was also a bit oversized compared to the normal uniqlo stuff.

Really the best way is to just look at the measurements on the actual site, I always liked Uniqlo for shopping online since they have descriptive measurements for each individual item.

was afraid I couldn't cop the parka but managed to find my size. I like the huge boxy silhouette it has, the fitting reminds me a bit of traditionnal japanese clothing.
Sweaters are nice and pants are surprisingly good too.
The shirting is meh tho

I need your honest opinion. Will a female coat look weird on a male body? Thinking of getting this.
Based on the measurement it should be fine but I'm worried about the proportion.
Since women have boobs and bigger waists will the coat look weird on me?

I just got the pants. To be perfectly honest, the fabric doesnt feel that great. Feels kinda like a very sturdy polyester instead of wool.
Theres a polyester lining in the front which is kinda nice but feels very flimsy.
The fit is perfect though. A little wide at the hips and then it tapers down.
I'm gonna keep it.
