Growing up in the 80s and 90s was the best. Once the 2000s hit and 9/11 happened, everything went downhill. Going to middle and high school in the 90s and discovering ourselves before the era of cellphones and social media truly were better times. Theres a reason why millennials aren't having sex anymore and don't even know how to approach women and talk to them face to face like me and all my friends had to do.

Millennials are Generation Y. There are millennials over the age of 30. People just use the word wrong because they assume it means people born around 2001.

I feel that. I'm 29 and didn't get a cell phone until I was 20. I really miss the days of being able to go about my business without calls/texts/emails coming in all the time. If you try that now people think you're crazy

Yup. Now your job expects to be able to reach you 24/7 and respond to emails from wherever you are.

There's a group of teenagers/young adults that hangs out in a park by my house every night. I've never heard them talk. You just see the glow from their 6 phones and vape clouds. Shouldn't they be raising hell. We're like the first generation not shocked by the following gen.

Still, growing up without all this tech makes you appreciate being able to access a seemingly infinite amount of knowledge and media, instantly, and from anywhere.

Are you saying that because you don't have any yourself? I don't think you understand that you had to have communication skills in the 90s. Everything was face to face back then. EVERYTHING. You actually had to talk to people in person. Now you can do everything online without ever leaving your house. I work for a marketing agency in NYC right now which recruits some of the best students in and out of college for internships/jobs and I swear none of them know how to communicate when they first start out. It drives me insane that they are lacking basic/fundamental communication skills. My friends and I didn't have cell phones to distract us. Of course I'm not a 10/10 model, but that didn't and doesn't matter. Girls back then didn't care much about their appearances as they do now. They weren't as self absorbed with their cell phones looking at themselves 24/7. People back then were much more laid back and care free. If you liked a girl, you had to get the balls to actually go up and talk to her. If you didn't, your friends would heckle you until you did. There was no way out of it. We didn't have cellphone screens to hide behind or distract us from what we wanted, and that was hooking up. Its all we really cared about, guys and girls. Everyone wanted to have sex. It wasn't until the early 2000s when I was in college/graduate school when people started using myspace and started meeting/talking/date people online. Of course there was AIM before, but still, people much preferred chatting in person with girls they knew. A friend from graduate school actually introduced me to 4chan in 2005, and I've been coming here ever since. Also, house parties were much more fun in the 90s without cell phones. We actually played slow songs to dance with girls to help initiate feelings/kissing to eventually lead to a bedroom or back home. Nowadays teens just blast horrible trap/rap music while snap chatting themselves. Its really sad desu.

I don't know man, you seem to be exaggerating. I mean, I don't live in the states. I used to but I was a teen in Europe and we are still pretty social here. Ofc we all have phones and social media etc. The part about how women are is pretty much similar but since we have a culture of not staying at home for long hours, we have to learn communication skills or else we are mocked or at least considered somewhat handicapped. What you are describing though is beginning to happen to the generation that is still in school. I am half American, is it worth coming to the other side of the lake because I assume that my generations Americans are socially retarted?

how old are you now?
what year were you born?
I'd say that in the US, kids under twenty-three or so are noticeably more absorbed in technology and possibly a bit more socially retarded
obviously it can't be a blanket statement though
just seems like the younger generations place a lot more value on online presence/popularity/interactions

and the waist has a certain look idk i guess its just almost seeing her mound that makes me think that im probably talking shit

anyway here are the """jeans""" I was talking about is this even denim
