How to dress when I study in Russia next semester? Where I'm from we sweat our balls off and the girls all wear yoga pants to class. Apparently in Russia jeans don't cut the mustard, except for on casual friday

Damn man, I live in Irkutsk. Probably the first time annybody mentioned that city on this website.
One of the dullest cities in Russia if I'm being honest.
There's like 1 nice place to go and it's a street full of shops, cafes and a mall (130th Square)
Baikal is nice though if you like views.

Moscow and St.Petes are not bad as long as you steer clear from some areas. I've spent my childhood years at the Russian south and got used to it, but whenever I go to some other city I try get out and forget what I saw as soon as possible. Dull is not as bad, as long as you don't get junkie youths attacking you in packs for pocket change. Hostel is based on a true story, I can feel it.
