"cheap" would mean like ~300 for a pair of pants in techwear speak just fyi. The point of the brand is expensive material and construction.

1. TECHWEAR IS A KIND OF CLOTHING, NOT A BRAND.

2. THE PURPOSE OF TECHWEAR —TECHNICALWEAR— IS TO PROTECT AGAINST NATURAL, OR ENVIRONMENTAL, FACTORS, WHILST BEING ADAPTIVE TO ONE'S LIFESTYLE —THE RELATIVELY HIGH PRICE IS MERELY A CONTINGENCY DUE TO THE RELATIVE RARITY OF THE PRODUCTION METHODS, AND MATERIALS USED.

THE FACT THAT YOU REGARD THE "HIGH PRICE" AS THE PURPOSE OF IT REVEALS YOUR OWN FRIVOLITY.

There is a lot of affordable military/"tactical" clothing out there that fits the aesthetic. These are just a few examples but do your own research

https://www.amazon.com/Condor-Summit-Shell-Tactical-Jacket/dp/B005XZXRGG
http://www.danner.com/tachyon-8-black-gtx.html

Also consider some durable workwear stuff like Carhartt cargos or w/e. For your average person who doesn't scale mountains then this should all be just as functional as some $1000 Acronym meme clothes

Since there is no real techwear thread, I'll ask here.

What gore-tex laminate does the new ACRNM J63-pb use? Is it the gore-Tex active, or something that's yet reserved for Errolson himself?

you can buy technical clothing cheap as fuck
I have adidas jacket with better technical properties than any acronym product and it cost me 50 bucks
ebay and sales exist, technical clothing has been relevant since 80s, if you can't do technical fit with budget you aren't even trying

fire/ems uniform pants sort of work and they're generally inexpensive as long as you don't but 5.11 memepants.

though at the end of the day you're still gonna look like a goober if you pair it with a shitty windbreaker. 'techwear' as a genre usually only works if you're willing to drop a lot of money.
