I agree with your observation that Koreans tend to dress in similar ways. While there is differences in style you usually find a lot of people who are dressed in a particular style. You said earlier this year so that means you probably were here when it was a little colder. I think this holds especially true in winter as most Koreans really seem to be into the same kind of coats; I can't complain because I love them and even would like one for myself but you're right in that they are very tend driven.

Although even here you will probably find groups of people that value individualism very highly and have their very own fashion style.

The place is full of basic bitches in style, personality, mentality, aspirations and social skills.

However less douchebags apparently than Usyd and people are mostly nice.

Also do not study photography, fine arts or film making in university. There are enough online websites out there that teach this shit for free or much cheaper.

Most art degrees in Australia focus on conceptual ideas and are entirely unconcerned with helping you make money or find success.

I have been going to the University of Alberta for a few years. Couldn't find anything from here on that website.

In engineering, most guys wear jeans and a hoodie, or flannel shirts. A handful put the effort in to be more /fa/ with well fitting, sharp garments approaching more of a business look. I admire some of them.

The international students at this school are for the most part rich so you'll see most of the Chinese kids wearing expensive high fashion items that I don't really recognize. The girls here are a mix of leggings/hoodie and more complicated outfits. I find a lot of the ones in the arts programs to be the cutest.

Overall it's pretty average, not too bad and not too special. You could find an /fa/ qt here without too much work. I'd love to see what life is like at UBC though.

Ualberta here too. Tbh engineering students all dress like shit. There's a couple decent fitted ones at best that I see but the closest you get above horrid is workmemewear and Reddit tier stuff. The Asians mostly wear rick, McQueen, off-white but I see them in msgm and stuff like that. So many of them are tossing anti social social club stuff in.
Grills here are alright but a solid 2 points below girls in Vancouver or elsewhere.

lots of qts actually (pretty basic tho), join a frat if you want to have a constant supply. Most ppl are in shape. Gainesville is probably one of the furthest places away from the beach in Florida so Beach life is like non-existant. We have a nice recreational lake that serves as a beach, but its not the same.

I got into all the state schools near me (William Paterson University, Ramapo College, and Montclair State University) but didn't even bother applying to other schools
I'm probably gonna go to community college
I'm gonna be living with my parents and when all my peers are out partying and getting laid I'm gonna have to come home at 9 because my parents (and everyone else in my life) treat me like a child.
How good do I have to do in CC to be able to get into a good school. I hate my life right now and I have no freinds or hobbies or job so I have time to study. I kind of wanna go to USC because living in a big city on the other side of the country will be liberating af, but I wouldn't mind any school that has a decent business/finance program and is far enough away that I would have to move.

Gpa of 3.5 gets you into most grad schools but it isn't just about the grades.
They look at the following

>if you run clubs at school, or hold exec positions
>scholarships and awards
Those will be the door opener for you just as much as grades

I doubt it matters so long as the grades are fine and the accepting uni is okay with it. American college and university definitions are very interchangeable so you're less likely to have barriers, but look into it asap

Check your schools website, I'm in your shoes right now. Usually schools have a transfer equivalency table to compare schools mostly in their area. A University will have more classes that have weight and courses will be on par to theirs which they'll see when you submit an application. They'll see you'll be able to handle the work more similar to theirs.

The only reason the to go to a community college is if you really don't have the money of uni.

I was going through the pros and cons with a teacher of mine, he convinced me that going to a University and doing well will better your chances of getting it.

some of the people at western washington university dress well but mostly dudes, the girls primarily dress in either the riding boots/green parka/scarf outfit or the generic tumblr garb. some do have real dope style but they are few and far between. most dudes here are dressed by the internet but some do have a genuinely unique sense of style. the hippy people tend to look better and more interesting.

MIT, people here range from either not caring (hoodie (usually one from the campus store) and some variation of decent jeans (levis etv)) to going over the top. One dude made his cloths with leds, and has an audrino attached in which he coded the leds to do certain patterns of flashing and/or going around in a circle. As for /FA/ cloths I've seen some people who dress that way, however I never really talk to them so I dont know any details.

It's expensive as fuck too so you gotta really want it.

But if you're on your shit and really, really want it, and just ignore those who don't, it's a good, intensive environment.

Just be prepared to be surrounded by kids who bitch about the workload, don't try, and can't manage their schedule so just sleep the whole class.
