Does anyone else think people who thrift most of their stuff and put together genuinely unique outfits/find their own style look infinitely better than people in all designer? I dunno, it's pretty easy to just drop a bunch of money and copy a fit you saw in a lookbook and it's kinda just, meh ya know.

I found some pretty nice stuff at thrift stores for less than $50. Scored a vintage Levis sherpa jacket made in USA for $30, as oppose to one made in China for $150.

A lot of the designer clothes I see are stupid expensive and usually lack quality. The only time I would spend over $200 on something would be a winter coat or leather boots.

Watch the new video on dazed about the british boys doing a pop up at dover street market. There's part where he talks about how you see inspiration from designers and find clothes that inspired by what inspired those designers

I try to build my wardrobe with super minimal basics (gildan t shirts, plain black pants) and unique/wild clothes that I make myself or thrift. It works really well and I get a lot of compliments on my fashion for it. When you pull off something that is hard to pull off it makes you 10x more effay.
