At the beginning of the year I switched from MFA shit to yohji/marsell/CDG(S/H+)/A1929 and my normie friends tell me alternately that (a) I look like a wizard trying to dress up like a muggle, or (b) a character in a Tim Burton movie. Sounds pretty close to wizardcore so I thought I'd mention it in case it helps

Really interested in this topic. I've been steadily getting really into occult stuff over the past couple of years, and while I'm a sceptic I find the aesthetic and imagery in most occult practices really cool.
I've put some thought into wizard-core every now and then, but I really can't envision anything that would clearly convey the idea, as opposed to looking just like a Yohji fit, short of wearing pentacles, owls and carrying a staff and pipe and shit.

I wear a lot of Sruli Recht, Individual Sentiments, Lost & Found, Inaisce, and other labels that fit into a sort of arte povera movement among avant garde designers. Think asymetric cuts, earthy tones, and lots of natural materials. I've definitely been called a wizard when I go all out on certain fits.

The other wizardy direction as someone else pointed out is to go all black kinda ninja wizard thing. That appeals to me far less, but it's still an option.
