IMO it has to do with getting the admiration of others.

At the asylum I use to work with a guy who was very confident and friendly, he was also fit and had my back when there was a 200 pound retard that needed to be restrained.

while all the other "men" were to scared to wrestle the retard he would jump in with no hesitation.

there was also a funny 6 feet tall girl who was also fearless when it was time to tie up retards.

they both knew how to keep a secret. if one of us lost our temper and ended up KO-ing any aggressive retards that tried to bite us, they would keep there trap shuts.

In my eyes these two where Cool people and I loved working with them.
