You can prune them.. They're pretty slow; they won't sneak up on you! Also, their size potential is limited by their root space. So none of those will get too outrageous simply because they don't have the space or nutrition available in such a small amount of soil. Thirdly, certain plants just ARE small. Succulents, for instance are little guys and thus a good choice for indoors. That being said, a bit of a jungle looks pretty awesome indoors. I may get some larger climbers soon since I have a great bay window to fill with plants.

Nah I got into the producing game pretty late I guess. I've played in a few bands on guitar and bass and always ran a synth through my amp at the same time to run specific parts. I like plain colours in washed cotton or linen, and some subtle patterns. You really have to think about your room though. If it's already really colourful or clashing, you're probably better off with plain white sheets. The opposite can also be true. If you have a super simple setup, you can get away with brighter and generally more bold shit.

Muji has really nice basics. Sometimes places like Marshalls and Winners have alright looking plain coloured sheets, and patterned Raplh Lauren/Hilfiger stuff.

Any feedback on this place? Need new bedding, a bed frame/platform, and something on the walls. Want to clean up my bookcase a bit. A nigthstand and a floor lamp wouldn't be be bad, either.

As far as bedding goes, I'm considering a white sheet set (Brooklinen, $109) and a Gray Linen Duvet Cover (H&M. $130). Someone recommended an off-white/cream duvet with white sheets, but I don't think that'd work well with the beige carpet. Someone recommended Coyuchi sheet sets and a blanket, but that alone is over $600 (http://i.imgur.com/PZ2U3c9.jpg).). As nice as that looks, I don't think that's within my budget.

No idea what to do for a bedframe. There's an option of a platform, but I think I need at least a boardboard given my wall. There's some Cb2 solid wood frames but they're in the $800-1,000 range, which is a bit beyond me. I was hoping to spend my tax return on a Casper or Tuftandneedle mattress. There IS an Ikea coming to Memphis in the fall, so maybe that'd be a place to look? Meh.

I love the desk and feel that I use the space well. Currently renting with a roommate, so gaming/porn isn't much an option in the "common space".

That small shelf thing has to go. It's awkward and I don't really care for it. Maybe a 2x3 or 3x3 storage cube thing? Could hide some bookshelf stuff in that.

The circuit breaker is the bane of my existence. Almost covered it up with white duct tape, but I guess I could find a canvas print or something to put over it. Still, hanging shit behind the door is awkward.

As far as other things go, I'm still looking for a couple smaller pots/plants. Definitely want to pick up a spider and a snake plant, but it's a matter of finding something that fits the look and drains well.

I apologize for the potato photoes. The Galaxy S3's camera is only 8mp and horrible with weak lighting.
