they aren't "high waisted" they are just regular fit...

try on a pair of 501s or Lees riders or literally any straight normal pair of pants

get some jeans hemmed

but you won't look as good as him in them unless you are tall as fuck and bone skinny

if you're under the height of 6 foot i wouldnt even bother honestly

>> No.11498027

wouldn't be surprised if they were women's given the amount of room in the crotch and the taper

or maybe it's just because he's really skinny and tall

otherwise i recommend slim wranglers or american apparel jeans

are AA jeans any good?
what is a the better starter jeans to get 501 or 511 (for 6' male)
should I get A.P.C. Or acne jeans instead?

I so confused thank u fa

aa's ok, a little overpriced but at least made in usa
quality reminiscent of 90s levis, so a little better than modern levis

501s are good because they're one of those classic items that probably won't go out of style for a very long time. the fabric is decent/ages well, the rise is sensibly high and the fit works for most body shapes. in my opinion one of the best items levis has to offer nowadays.

apc and acne really have nothing going for them besides their marketing. i would skip these

Thanks for the response! On top of jeans, would you suggest to stay away from APC and Acne for other items as well? I was considering buying a crew neck sweatshirt from Acne on grailed but now I'm not so sure.

yeah, unfortunately. most things acne or apc sells you can get elsewhere for less. in general, i (and many others) consider high quality basics brands to be rather redundant.

as an alternative i recommend looking through vintage and consignment shops for older items made in first world countries, shit is usually cash. or purchasing from older brands with historically good reputations, like carhartt or brooks brothers.

for some of the more "out there" things in terms of colors/make from acne do you have any recs?

>> No.11498472

american apparel

they aren't high waisted, they're low or mid rise which he just pulls up to ball-crushing heights

>> No.11498479

>>11498472
no they aren't. there would be more wrinkles at his crotch if he was doing that

>> No.11498566

>>11498479
i'm not specifically talking about OP's pic, but yeah, they are clearly mid-rise

check the archives, he talks about it

Regardless of whether OP's pic is mid rise or whatever, what I want to know is where can I get some actual high rise stuff?
