Are these pants supposed to be cut this short or is it just because it's a Jap company?

>> No.11491131

What pants? In the US, basically all pants from UNIQLO come in a 34 length. Do you need pants longer than a 34? I'm afraid you need to go to a special shop.

I ordered a couple of pairs online, like an idiot, without checking the standard length.
I figured since I'm so fat right now (36 waist) the inseam would proportionally be high enough to not be a problem.
I'm around a 33 length. These aren't quite cutting it but it's /fa/ to be PeeWee Herman these days, isn't it? Either way these are going back.

Did you order jeans and choose the 32 length? If not they should be 34. It says it on the tag. It should say 36x34. If it's shorter than that, it's a mistake and you should return them.

Yeah man they ain't oxford shirts, that's an office shirt if I ever saw one. Don't wear that in a casual setting unless you want to look euphoric as fuck.

Oxford shirts are like this, notice the rougher, thicker, less crisp fabric.

The button down collar is usually a good casual indicator but not always, you get formal shirts with it and casual shirts without it. Like I said earlier, collar stiffness is a pretty good rule of thumb, along with how smooth and crisp the fabric is.

>>11504035
Yeah tucking can be fine if the shirt is long enough for it but this guy's clearly just starting out so it's better if he takes it a step at a time.

Long johns tend to be thicker than tights, so under skinny jeans tights might be more appropriate. Can't say if either of them will fit under skinny jeans fine though - in the winter I think you'd be better off just wearing thicker jeans and/or long, thick socks.

>Didn't think they were that dressy but now I'm thinking otherwise.
Oxfords aren't casual. You either wear them with trousers for a less formal business meeting, or with a pair of dark jeans for a nice night out with your girl.

Before I started dressing well I was a tatted up biker, so my arms are covered in ink. My usual daily attire is a linen/cotton button down, with chinos or dockers. Keeps my tattoos all covered up, I look better dressed than 95% of men walking around, and I feel good.

Look into some cotton/linen button downs, they are made to be worn untucked, and look good.

Of course suede can be worn through snow and puddles, but needs to be water proofed before hand. And cleaned after getting wet, dirty, etc.

Really depends on how you wear them and what their fit is like. Retail khakis tend to be regular/straight cut so as to maintain a "uniform" appearance for all employees.
Realistically you could wear slim khaki chinos with a nice brown leather non-chukka boot, and like a light blue button down shirt and not look like a retail employee. I'd have to see the pants in question to offer anything else though.

I have a pair of Publish Legacy joggers in a 36 inch waist, but they're about large (falls to my hips also measuring my waist always comes to like a 38).

Not if you lack confidence. Wearing anything slightly outside of society's norms takes confidence.

If you are self-conscience about wearing a certain item, that feeling will radiate to people around you. They will get the feeling that you aren't "comfortable in your own skin".

If anything my original statement could be interpreted as Egosyntonic because it is in harmony with the ego. How do we improve our own self-esteem? By judging others and figuring out how and why we are better than them.
