Thing is, you gotta use tattoo needles, you can get nice results with fucking sewing needles but it's WAY harder, and you gotta have patience too

i only ever plan on getting black and white and i'm thinking of fillin my chest up before i get anything else on my legs or arms.
depending on the line of work you plan on going into, tattoos might be more accepted, even then you can always get them in places that can be covered with clothing

before i went vegan i was watching vids on ravens and crows (corvids in generals) and couldn't believe how smart they were. it really helped me really understand the intelligence of animals which later led me to veganism. i think of it as a tribute.

Anyone who is into tarot will tell you that you don't know shit about the meaning without having worked with the cards and I'd agree with them. It's not like you'll get called out on it all stolen valor style, but people who like tarot will comment on it and expect you to not sound like an idiot when talking about it. you can always say the personal meaning, but most of them I'd wager would lose respect for you knowing you don't use the cards.

get into it I say, it's pretty damn fun.

also don't worry about busy-ness. the tattoo artist won't copy it exactly. they adapt it, and they can take out anything you don't want and change anything you don't like.

also check out hans holbein the younger's woodcuts like "the dance of death" for something without tarot connotations.

hahah that's hardly original; in fact its a pretty common scene to depict in baroque/renaissance art. The one in that tattoo is "st. michael vanquishing satan" by raphael, though.

Nah, my dad's an eye surgeon and my mom's a pediatrician.

Just a bit behind the tattoo tho, it's for my dad. Fencing is a sport of precision, and so a rapier and the eye together kinda symbolize my dad's work.
