The lens I shot this on is really wide so the dimensions look a little off. There's a dresser and closet behind where I stood, but yeah it's kinda bland. I'm just sick of coloured walls. Generally only pallets ment for international shipping are treated with chemicals to prevent animals and diseases and to lengthen the lifespan of the wood due to rotting. Sometimes pallets with be re-used by local companies to safe costs or simply because it's more convenient. Pallets that have been used for (usually) international shipping are burn-marked with the IPPC stamp. In the US, you'll probably find a lot of IPPC marks with the "MB" tag on it. This means that the pallet has indeed been treated with the chemical methyl bromide. These chemicals can be harmful in warm, cozy environments such as your room.

Nationally or European pallets are usually heat-treated (HT) and harmful in terms of chemical substances.

Since transportation is far from being hygenic or sterile, a combination with warm, moist thick mattress filled with house dust mite and a hot, sweaty human being on top is not recommended. You won't die overnight, but it's recommended to properly sand your pallets and treat them with a water-based wood finish.
