Is this room effay?

Yep

Too much wasted space. The cream color is interesting, but it reminds me too much of a generic apartment. Concrete grey and cream don't really mix well anyway.

95% of the work done by the room is done by the nice architecture and incredible view, not really the ~design~ elements.

I like the flowers. If it's a living space it looks too much like an art gallery.

no but this one is, lots of space, but its usable at least

Does a room have to be either industrial looking or minimalistic in order to be effay? I'm rocking a teencore type of room right now yet it's small and comfy as fuck.

The wasted space is exactly why its effay though.

Like pic related?

and not necessarily, but a room just has to have a certain "A E S T H E T I C" to be effay

what do you mean teencore type room? green day posters everywhere and windows blacked out with towels?

Weird, low ceiling = crammed feeling

Only a portion of the room has that "low ceiling". Seems like there's a loft above and if you were to take a couple steps forward you'd see the high ceiling

I'm pretty young so there is usually a mix of nick nacks and old electronics lying about. Also I share a room with my younger brother at my parents home since uni is just a few blocks away so you can imagine what a kid who plays Terraria and praises FnaF does when it comes to decor.

As for the room itself it is shaped like a squashed backwards "L" with a bunkbed crammed up against a window on the longest side. There's a shelf behind my head and two more next and parallel to it with a TV on the second one mentioned. Small closet sits parallel to the first shelf with a nightstand and record player inside with the speakers sitting near my feet with what little space is to the left of the bunks.

Sounds like shit I know, but until we git out it suits me alright.

Are you saying it's wrong of us to have role models? Even Kanye is an ass, he has very good taste.

I would consider him an EXCELLENT starting point for anyone seeking fulfillment through the appreciation of higher aesthetics.

HAHA
Tvs are for the pathetic bourgeoisie that gets easily distracted by flashing lights and colours.
Real aristocrats pay escorts to fist each other in their living rooms.

>is this the lobby of an art gallery or design studio?
The room is effay, but the furnishings aren't. Lacks enough contrast.

>is this an actual residential building?
It's cold, empty and dead. This kind of poured concrete minimalism is too played out in house design, especially in this case because there's literally no palate, just cream and grey.
