Right now I am kind of experimenting with my summer style, I go to Uni in Florida. This is one of my more casual fits

I also like to pair plain colored shorts with patterned buttondowns (floral, stripes, etc).

I love my red high tops, especially because with most of my fits it will be very obvious that I am not in a fraternity. Not looking like a frat douche is probably the biggest challenge of summer styles down here.

Yeah I feel that too, but honestly those shorts are probably my most flamoyant pair. I have some solid colors too, so they go with a lot more clothes. Plus my peers know me as that guy who "does his own shit" style wise (FSU is a very uneffay place) so even if I wear some mismatched mess they're going to think it's some kind of fashion statement, so that kind of protects me a bit.

Although like I said, suggestions for summer fits that incorporate wide legged shorts (24 inch quads, thanks /fit/) and my high tops are welcome because I'm still figuring this shit out.
