I had a free moment, wanted to try out some ways of taking some pictures on timer. I don't think I'll be doing this again, too much effort trying to get it right. I really want to focus on more professional shots.

Anyway, here's a fit I've been trying out. I like the Guidi's with the tailored pods more than I had anticipated. The Moody tunic doesn't really go under the blazer though. Blazer are holes are way too slim for it. I usually just wear and unstable tee under the blazer, there's nothing else that can fit comfortably.

Thanks I have a big back from weightlifting so it's a struggle figuring out sizing. I have a super slim s/s bomber sz 52 that fits super nice, but I can't wear it zipped up at all.

Would like to be able to close the blazer comfortably. Pic related is a single vent, correct? I know nothing of blazers.

It's a 54 though, and seller labels it as a "bomber blazer" which may be the answer to my big back problem. I do have about a month before I need the jacket so I will do some shopping around, however this is a good contender so far.

That looks to be a double vent - I'd have to see the back though because that's an older season model. Those front side slit pockets are different than the typical double vent. Could be part of the "bomber" name.

The double vents are the most sharp and handsome blazer he makes. Partially due to the shoulder padding and arm pattern. Also the full lining helps. Single vents usually are only partially lined, fit more relaxed, less structure.

A 54 should work for you in the double vent, though it's always difficult to get blazer with such structure to fit correctly on dudes who lift and have upper back/shoulder muscles. I had a 52 for a bit that fit like a medium/large. It was crazy under sized...

Thanks for the heads up. I do want something pretty formal, I need it for a few very important meetings abroad. The bomber style fit might not fly, and I'll look for some fit pics of similar ones to gauge the stupid-ness.

I will look more into single vs double, but any recommendations on a specific RO blazer that I can dress up/down would be great as I only have about a month to get one in my hands.

but you 100% cannot pull this off in an office enviorment

the arms are flared at the elbow, and continue to cover the web of your index and thumb, the lapel is deconstructed and is meant to wrinkle upon wear, it is sized to wear over a sheer silk tank top from the same season and paired with a men's skirt and heels.

the back is shortened roughly 3" and the front is lengthed 2 inches. the vent is reverse box pleated

I think that particular blazer is really short - arms are much longer than body - hence the 'bomber' aspect. I wouldn't go for it if I was stocky. Rather elongate the silhouette.

Yeah it won't really be for an 'office environment' so to speak, but I would like to stand out while still being professional.

It will be worn while I sit in on a few meetings with international dignitaries abroad and in parliament. I have the go ahead to wear rick in most cases, but I'm being purposely kept in the dark about what's ok to wear/what I'm doing really.

So I'd like to maintain the rick aesthetic, but maybe I cannot translate it for the meetings where I have to be professional. Should probably just invest in a nice suit and work a rick blazer into my wardrobe when time isn't so short.

The owner told me that they had the staples intact as well, but came in with a chip in the back of the sole's heel.

The inside has Rick owens on the insole and the insole is also ridged/sawtooth

Rick looks better on more muscular or skinny builds, you are fairly skinny but to pull off Rick you'd have to maybe do a bit of working out to make it look best. Also your hair seems to be balding a bit so I would just go extreme and shave it if you want to really commit to the Rick aesthetic. Rick is all about extremes, brutality and confidence. A weak hair line implies weakness while a well waxed bald head implies strength and discipline; both very dominant and tricky characteristics

I've seen plenty of different dunk fakes. Some have sigs, some do not.
Ive never seen dunks (real or fake) with YKK zips. Also, the sole at the back looks wrong. Overall there's something off about the shape and color of the shoe.

depends on the jacket and whether it's mainline or drkshdw. drkshdw tends to fit a bit oversized while mainline can vary. blazers fit small to tts, leathers fit small but some coats fit large.

It's definitely possible, but it's not as likely to be well accepted here. I think the sneakers can be used in more normal fits (jeans + t shirts), but you have to be much more careful about it - Rick works so well in full fits because it's meant to work together. I'll see if I can find some fits.

Obvious fakes: Dunks don't use YKK, zippers are supposed to be silver (pic makes them look dark), shape of rectangle stitching near last eyelet of laces are misshapen (dead giveaway), insole is really really bad, and leather quality is bad.

Check for size notation on zipper flap and get a profile pic to check toe box if you're still not convinced, but it's honestly pointless they're fake as fuck.
