Wondering the same thing. Worried about damaging my already dry/thin hair.

I've gone no-poo + argan oil for 7 months and the quality of my hair has improved significantly. Hate to undo all of that effort.

But, the last time I dyed my hair it felt amazing. Looking to go from a dirty blonde to maybe a reddish brown (natural look, not sperglord-red)

tl:dr is dyeing going to damage my hair or are there ways to do it safely/productively?

Semi permanent dyes (like manic panic) arent very damaging to the hair. Bleach , and jet black are the worst things you can do. If you can find a vegan semi permanent dye in the shade you want it wont damage your hair. Youll just need to keep applying it , dilute it in some (sulfate free, silicone free) conditioner .

You honestly just need to have your hair stop looking so dry... If you don't want to do no-poo try washing your hair with a shampoo and conditioner that don't contain sulphate. If your shampoo says sodium lauryl sulphate as one of the ingredients you need to toss it now and get some new stuff.

From the picture it looks like short hair all around except the hair line which has 1/2- an inch of volume. if you have/ get mousse and kind of do a slick back it might look more even or at lest something to keep the sides a bit farther back.

I hate how my hair looks. My hairline is shit and everytime I start to get it longer I end up cutting it because it gets super puffy and the silhouette that it creates in the back of the neck and over the ears drives me crazy. Should I let it grow for a while or fix it somehow?

I wish the hair at the front was longer so I could at least style it somehow. I'm coming from a buzzcut.

Hair is long and wavy. It's tied up because I haven't taken care of it lately so it's messy as hell at the moment. But you can have a slight idea of how long it is. like from the picture

I have to wear glasses everyday, which sucks but it's either that or contact lenses (which I can't afford atm)

Going in for a cut tomorrow. I kinda want to try growing my hair out, but I don't really know

The left side is still shorter than the right side, and both are shorter than the top from my last haircut which was a combed-right undercut kind of thing.

What should I get cut?

If I can't figure anything out I'll ask them for advice at the salon, but if I end up not liking it I'll probably end up going back and just shaving down the sides and leaving the top.

Bullshit. Natural waves look phenomenal with most fits. I could see trying to part your hair differently or otherwise change the top - it hangs a bit weirdly now - but waves on their own are nice, and what you have is pretty nice.

A month ago I got a buzzcut (2 on the sides, 6 on the top). However,, my hair looks pretty retarded now. I think it looks retarded because the part in the front sort of droops down which looks dumb because the rest of my hair is pretty short.

It's pretty soft, curly/wavy (changes idk) in front, and wavy behind. It's also pretty frizzy (I live in a tropical climate). On days where I go out, I usually shampoo/conditioner, wait till my hair is damp, apply hair cream, then blow dry towards my left side. Sometimes it looks good, sometimes it doesn't. Any general advice on styling advice for this type of hair? Also can anyone recommend any good/manageble hairstyles for this?

hey fa,
after washing my hair it goes all boofy/frizzy and it takes a few days for the roots to get greasy and keep down easier

I normally use "clay" but have tried other products nothing keeps it down after shampoo etc

any tips?
