Post SS2013 Geos/Cargobaskets/Ramones/Ramones boots all fit TTS for me, if anything the low tops are a little tight. I wear 44 ramones lows where as I'm TTS 43 on every other pair of ricks. I haven't worn my tech runners in forever but I believe that's correct. Pic related, my ricks

With pants and shorts it varies collection to collection and between the lines. For instance mainline pods I have a pair of 48s that fit like a pair of L in drkshdw... the shirts and tops are different too though unless you're a rake thin skeleton you'd need to go up a size in jackets/leather i.e. 48->50

I think I agree with you on the shoes to an extent, the dudes laced them up like ramones are usually styled but given ramones are an homage to All stars they still work in this outfit.

So trying to cop a Double Layer T on grailed and all the listing (S/M) say the shirt can accomadate any size from S-L. I realize this is due to how double layers are made, but is there a noticible width/length difference between them? Should I just cop the size I wear in regular t shirts, or pick the color I want?

I'm just generally not a fan of the silhouette of those. You could definitely do with some bulkier shoes, but it needs to be something bulky with a little more shape to it.

I own a pair of 789z, so I can't speak on the s models, but my boots are very slim already. I've read that the s models are even more of a leather sock than normal, however.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the sizing is very unreliable. My pair of Guidi is tagged a 46, but fits me perfectly as a 44, so definitely ask for outsole measurements and comparisons to the sellers normal size if possible.

I forgot to mention, but there is also an m suffix which indicates a mushy toebox, but these are mostly custom order and pretty rare.

The horse leather will produce the most iconic Guidi ripple look, other leathers will look different, yes.

My pair are smoother looking, with thicker, slouchier ripples, not many small sharp creases as a FG horse leather pair would have. This is also a function of the height of the boot, a 789 or 989 wont have ripples as defined as a 788 or 988, and 787's and 987's can be a mixed bag, more dependent on your bottoms than anything else.

There's a ton. I'll list the animals I'm aware of, and not finishes.

Calf, horse, donkey, kangaroo, bison and deer. Most of those come in full grain, soft, and reverse leather finishes. I feel like they also do a lamb leather, but I wouldn't commit to saying that's 100% true.

These are real IMO, they're just the transparent version. Made of like a thin netting. Not nearly as desirable or durable as heavy canvas - they ended up going on sale at Barneys warehouse for super cheap, like $200 or less. Never seen any fakes and these have all the right detailing.

I don't know the retail price actually, but they are safety shoes by a very long running traditional Finnish company, being safety shoes they are bulky as fuck and had me fooled for a couple of seconds. The guy wearing them had damaged them and the metal was actually showing a bit under the canvas which was surprisingly cool looking.
I guess they'd be great if you want to rock your Rick fits at the construction site.

As you may be able to see on some pictures, the sewings are lose, broken, etc. When I started making these (they're actually not done yet) it was the first time i tried sewing by hand.
But I feel like this gives them "the look", that they're imperfect and falling apart.
Whenever a patch is starting to get lose or fall off, I sew a new over the old one.

I've heard this, and am aware that it may be the case. However, I have seen listings for cordovan back zips, even from retailers. I've seen some that look more like cordovan as well. Regardless, I misunderstood by what the poster meant by ripples, I thought he was referring to the grain of the leather rather than the way the leather folds and stacks.

I can see why you would think we were talking about the grain, and not the stacking/creasing however.

Keep in mind all Guidi's will fit differently and that another pair of boots the same tag size as yours could be bigger or smaller, you may just need to try another pair. If you're interested in selling them toss me an email, its further up in the thread.

These are a 44. I have high arches, that's what always fucks me with shoes
