Buccal fat removal is a scam. Results are barely noticeable and as you age you will get those sagging chipmunk cheeks.

Surgically removing tissue from your face will always age worse than you would have naturally. Adding shit like implants and fillers are a better option but no one knows what happens to them once you get older since they're aren't many examples senior citizens with facial implants walking around atm.

If I go to a plastic surgeon and ask them to fix my jaw, is that doable? Or would it be more reasonable to just shave a couple cm of the chin?

As far as I can see there's nothing wrong with your jaw.
Your chin is pretty good other than a tiny bit of asymmetry. I don't think it's worth getting surgery unless you can get it covered by insurance - which I'm pretty sure you can't.

You can't just it the nearest surgeon and tell him to fix this shit, and this shit. Or at least, you can't do that if you plan to get the cost covered.

And if you don't, well, i hope your parents are rich because maxillofacial surgery often starts at 10'000$.

I had otoplasty and rhinoplasty myself. Was it worth it ? Probably. But in the end it's way too invasive and costly. Besides if you're a perfectionist with some layers of narcissism, like most of /fa/, you will never be fully happy with the results.

I don't think "recreative" plastic surgery is a good idea. If you have some real problems, and i'm talking an absolute lack of chin (pic related for example), massive Dumbo ears, or some kind of deformity, sure, go for it. Chances are that the surgery will be covered on top of that.
