how do you cop pale pieces now with the knowledge that in six months' time you'll look at your wardrobe and cringe because everyone will be onto the next tumblr trend?

myself, I follow two rules.

keep it (relatively) cheap

and/or

keep it versatile enough that individual pieces can probably be used later on, when the meme is over
