What's the general consensus on Norse Projects around here? Thinking of copping this coat.

I've owned a few pieces and some are better than other others in terms of quality.

Are they overplayed as a brand now, or is that just the 5 panels?

A real solid brand, but pricey. I bought a nunk jacket in '12 and it still looks great. Their elka jackets are great in the rain but you'll overheat really quick because they're not breathable

Pants are in a weird cut but high quality
Einar backpack's buckles broke on me but NP sent me some replacements and covered the repair cost, prob shouldn't have broken in the first place though

They are overplayed in a sense that they mostly release basic pieces that can be found for cheaper and probably equal quality thus the hate for them.
I generally like them,but only buy on sale, like I said a little overpriced, at least to me.

Copped the blue dip dye sweater last season. Nicest sweater I've owned. Probably better quality than my Raf Sweater.

Coat in Rains which is another decent Danish brand if you want minimal outerwear.

Great quality for the price since I get 20% off and I've never been hit by customs fees. They also have occasional free shipping periods and end of the season sales. One of my favorite brands, love their knits to death.
