Yeah, I think so. It's a solid fit and the quality is great. I have two pairs that have lasted me a year of heavy wear and no holes or anything. Color is still good. All Saints sometimes has interesting linen shirts but the past year or so I haven't seen anything worthwhile.

It would be easiest to tell by seeing the rest of the tag (again, particularly the care instructions) as well as the bars logo.

Generally I don't put stock into the face of the tag since so many of mine vary even though I'm sure of the authenticity. FW12 Mountain tags are sketchy looking too. The font is different that season and not all uppercase.

I have a problem with the really high ankle creepers where it's hard for me to get my foot into them unless the leather is soft so sizing down a whole size is not an option. I would say like with most rick if you're in between sizes then size down. Works great for me.

I don't own any Rick, but I might want to possibly in the future. Before I make any purchases, I need to know how his shoes run. I have very big and wide feet, and as we all know most designers don't make or very rarely make shoes past size US 13. From what I've seen, Rick doesn't seem to be an exception. Rick's garments really only seem to work properly with other Rick pieces, and that means you can't have a sick fit without the shoes too. So before I even consider acquiring any Rick, I need to work from the bottom up and see if the shoes would fit on me, which I will need the help of Rick general to do. To do a comparison with a common shoe someone around here probably has, lengthwise, a size 14 Stan Smith is probably the perfect length for me. I have heard Rick's shoes have gigantic toeboxes though, so that might make up for the size difference. Widthwise, Stans run very narrow though, and I really have no comparisons here. How wide are Rick shoes?

Lets start of by saying this is a fallacy, you can incoporate rick into loads of other deisgners stuff

I have stans in 43 and my geos are a whole size smaller at 42, though I have resonably narrow feet. Best thing you can do is try before you buy.

I believe the only problems people have with ricks shoes if they have wide feet is getting the foot in some small openings, like some of the boots and the ramone lows

They fit TTS. I'm a 43 in most rick shoes and these fit a little tighter than my high Ramones. I'm a 10.5 true and wish I got the 43.5 instead of the 43. I had to seem rip the tongue to get my feet in and also my toes are topping out. I would definitely try to get as close to true to size as possible so if you're an 8 a 41 should be fine.

I'm wearing mine right now in fact. Decided to keep them. They are so fucking stiff and heavy still... I feel like I'm wearing rocks on my feet.

They are really hard to get into a fit. That's why I was on the fence about them for so long. It took getting some pods and some other faun pieces that they came together for me. The reverse leather is so god damn stiff though I hate hate hate it. Least comfortable shoes ever. I'm toughing through it. Just get shoulder measurements and compare. I have 19 in shoulders so I get XL rick although I'm normally a large, going a size up is pretty much always necessary for outerwear.

Also, I find rick outerwear looks best a little bit big, that's just my preference. I like when the stomach is a little paunchy.

first of all never use double layer tees, they look gay as fuck

if youre going to use a tight tee, make sure it wont stretch and flare out, it will look like a faggy skirt. use a ribbed cotton or a different fabric that will hold its shape. if youre going to use a baggier tee, the sweater has to also be very baggy, otherwise it will pinch the tee and flare it out like a skirt. if you have a longer sweater and want to layer a longer tee under it, wear dropcrotch sweats or something like that, with just jeans it will fall in an akward area around your upper thighs and crotch, which looks like shit

this is for straight hems only, if you use the rick crotch/buttflap tees, julius ripped hem tees, etc you have more room to improvise, but layering under a sweater is harder than other tops due to the hem usually being horizontal all the way around. you can do more interesting things layering under a top with an open front

double layer tees dont work for layering, the wrinkles will look out of place without the top of the shirt as context. looks like youre wearing a wrinkly diaper belt. they will work from the front layered under a work jacket or something but will still look bad from the back. i wouldnt wear them layered at all, they look best by themselves or under a long jacket that will cover the back

As for the open front top I usually wear the double layers with my DRKSHDW flight jacket. My wardrobe and sensibilities are still a work in progress, so I appreciate the input.
