do you have the 1st or 2nd iteration of it? you can tell by the top strap, is it connected to just the shoulder straps or the bag itself?

I have the 2nd iteration of it and I think they changed the fabrics and other parts of the construction. maybe I don't use it that hard but it's held up just fine for a few months so far. I only really use it for commuting though, which it's perfect for.

Picked this one up yesterday. Not the most /fa/ thing in the world, but I think it's not terrible, and Mountain Hardwear makes great shit.

Also, stock photos make it look like way more of a fat piece of shit than it actually is, it's actually pretty slim and light when loaded with real shit and not stuffing.

I need your advice for picking out a new ruckscack/strap-bag for college.

I'm getting a new bag that's replacing pic-related (I was a nerd when I first picked it, pls no bully), and ideally i'd like something smart that matches the school dress code (smart and/or business casual). Generally speaking, i'm a fan of bags that strap over your shoulder, but not so much rucksacks.

My standard dress would consist of two and three-piece suits in grey and navy. On some days navy chinos and a shirt.

This would be daily use for carrying books, binders, paper, equipment etc.

TL;DR - I need a new school bag and I want/need a replacement that suits my clothing.

It's literally just the materials, but they do make a considerable difference. Especially with the huge leather panel (huge on the bravo, anyway) the bags have a much higher quality feel to them than chrome bags already do.

For everybody complaining about the strap, there is a second strap that comes out around your other arm and clicks into the first strap to redistribute the weight. I have never had a problem with these bags being uncomfortable.

I have this one.
It's waterproof waxed canvas and can hold so much stuff.
Only complaint is the front pockets are flat so they can't hold much. Ends up pretty perfect for me though because they can fit keys, a pen, and sunglasses, which is all the small shit I need to carry.
I needed a decent cycling pack for a long time and I didn't want the whole tech look.
