i like gin and tonics. its an old man drink but its refreshing, goes down easy, and after the first few massive gin hangovers you have it'll stop kicking your ass and be a pleasant experience with mild side effects.

Most wells in the states stock beefeater, which is drinkable and inexpensive but doesn't have much character. Higher quality gins taste very very different from eachother so try as many as you can til you find something you like.

It depends on the bar you're in and you if you want /fa/. Aim for a cohesive aesthetic, not a selection of handpicked 'cool' things.

It really doesn't matter too much though and you should more so get a drink that's worthwhile for your night out. Enjoy yourself.

The least fashionable would be well liquor + whatever --if only because it's a cheap alternative, likely to get you drunk.
Though if that's your goal, nobody will care.

Alternatively, if you don't tip you deserve to get your penis sounded with bamboo. Unless the bartender is providing horrible service, in which case what you do is up to you.

I vote for Gin & Tonics if you want something light, Martini's if you want the taste of liquor, and whatever beer they have that isn't cheap swill, like Blue, Bud, Coors, etc. I'm a fan of Rusty Nails, but that doesn't make them fashionable.

I'd say Jager anything is probably the worst you can do. Or trying to drink old, expensive liquor when you can barely stand the stuff.
