Depends on what you mean by well fitted. Generally when you're wearing such a sleek shoe you want pants to match. If your pants are strangling your calves and they bulge out because they're so tight, it interrupts the silhouette and breaks it up. This is the most common mistake I see when people attempt to pull off chelsea boots. It really only works if your thigh and calf are roughly the same circumference, that is to say you have to be an absolute skeleton.
