Posted this a couple of threads ago, still haven't changed much anyhow.

Should I just let it grow out and tie it back? I was always one of those guys who just buzzed his own shit, have been getting "proper" haircuts recently. This is a few months after asking for a 2 on the sides, blended to top, and leaving the top long. I can grow a decent-ish beard if that means anything.

Any sound advice would be appreciated!

I have a quick question as I've been having a lot of trouble with my hair recently.

I've started to grow my hair out, and recently (past month or so) I've begun to develop a lot of dandruff and a very itchy scalp. When I run my fingers over my scalp I notice that there are some medium sized bumps on my scalp, and whenever I take a shower A LOT of hair comes out (like at least 50 strands). Do any of you know what this is or what I could do? I'm worried that I'm losing all my hair (I'm not balding, nobody on my mother's side is balding and my dad has a very full thick head of hair). I talked to a doctor about the red bumps but he just prescribed me Diprosalic cream for the seborrheic dermatitis/eczema on my hands, and didn't even respond when I asked about my scalp. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar to this or knows what I can do cause it's really been bothering me. I also shampoo very often and have tried baking soda + vinegar as well as nopoo for 6 months.

OP here, I jusy have naturally pretty thicl hair, so it tends to just do that. Just let them know you want the sides short and tapered but with the bangs longer than the rest of the top of your hair so that they can blend back into it and get pushed back into the rest of your hair. I'm growing mine out since I started minx, approx 2.5 months ago, it's actually fucking working for me which is astonishing because my life sucks top to bottom, but it is. I want to grow it out and then try a new style, but this really awkward length is killing me.

The top and back goes however I brush it, but the sides spring out with curls.

had my hair cut a few weeks ago, about 4 or 5, and it looked a little ridiculous when i didnt style it due to it being so curly, but i slick it back with pomade and it looked pretty good, and looks better the longer it gets. I feel like i might get the sides faded from bottom to top to neaten things up a bit. This is my hair unstyled atm, with a tiny bit of american crew pomade in to reduce frizz. thoughts on un styled hair?
