is it true NBs run large? i want to get a pair of http://www.newbalance.com/pd/made-in-the-usa-bringback-996/M996-L.html?dwvar_M996-L_color=Grey_with_White#color=Grey_with_White&width=D.. the largest they have is size 13. i measured my feet and they're supposed to be size 13, but they're also wide, so i have to usually size up. size 15 nikes fit well, size 14 stan smiths are tight. would my feet fit?

The problem with NB for me is the colors chosen. It's either too eccentric or not. Those shoes for example was too simple for me. Someday I'll just buy them on impulse, maybe then I won't be picky.

on the surface, nb is an old american sneaker company. good nbs are made in the USA or UK. a lot of collabs/limited releases are designed and marketed with a prep/americana aesthetic (Kennedy / National Parks / American Authors / collabing with j. crew). They aren't always worn preppy, but they are some of the only non-minimalist sneakers that don't look out of place under some khakis and a checked button down.
