reposting my collection

rundown:
>Hamilton Khaki is my favourite, awesome watch, pretty much my daily wear
>Tissot PRC200 was my first watch, I like it a lot, a solid starting watch imo; to nitpick it's slightly too chunky for the leather strap, also the leather strap isn't that great
>the other Tissot is my dad's, he got it as a gift but he doesn't wear watches so he gave it to me; good enough, it's my dressy watch although I definitely wish he got a Visodate instead
>Seiko 5 was my first mechanical watch, very cheap so I ordered it to see what's up; it's too small and too kiddy looking tbh, also I might have a faulty movement because, although it keeps ok time, it only keeps like 8 hours reserve
>Orient Makos are my summery wear, I first got the blue one but the bracelet got broken so I got the black one to get another bracelet and I figured I'd also have another watch, good deal since they're cheap... but now the blue one is scratched up (no sapphire crystal) and the black one broke down. They actually look very nice and are fine beaters but don't expect them to last.

It's very nice, especially in the summer, the dial changes constantly.

The crown feels kind of 'back-to-front' to me, as in to advance the date and wind the watch you go the opposite way to what you (or at least, I) would expect. When I got it I actually thought the quickset date was broken, spent about 10 minutes googling before I thought to try the other way,

I'm facing a decision between these two watches. Both very budget but I wouldn't ask a chinese carpet forum for opinions on 1,000+ watches now.

The first is £100 ($155) with a quartz movement and day count. The brand name has less design and has thinner hands.

The second is £140 ($220) everything seems a bit bigger inside the face which uses a Automatic movement.

TL;DR: Which one?

The quartz should keep much better time then the mechanical and when it dies you can replace the battery for a few dollars. The mechanical will likely cost more to service when it dies and will probably be a bitch to find someone to service it. Quartz will likely be a thinner watch too. It's also a pain to keep a auto wound IMO.

I like that the mechanical of those two only has date not day/date. The date is also bigger and easier to read. I like the sweep movement over the ticking too.

Memegauss is poorly made chink shit. It may have cool Rolex homage styling that you like and it may be a fun watch to own, but I would never call it an actually good watch. At least the Seiko meme5s are made by a respectable company with some pedigree and the watches are very well finished considering how cheap they are.

Look at the textured applied logos and the nice looking hands with an even coat of lume on them and the nice even dial printing and the date window which is cut and beveled into the dial instead of being a rough punched hole. Bagels look like they're made out of scrap metal by comparison in close up photos.

Does anybody else have consistency issues with their Rodina? I know its a $100 knockoff, but it's a generic movement that I would expect to have decent timekeeping. My Rodina gets about 5-10 minutes fast every day or 2, and it's getting obnoxious. Not sure if I got a lemon? Is it worth taking to a watchman to get it checked out?

If you honestly think that looks better than an SMP you're fucking insane.

My problem with the Speedmaster is that if you want the actual moon watch it's a shitty for a normal use (manual wind, no sapphire crystal). And if you buy the "modern" version you don't have a moon watch.

winding really is a non-issue once you're used to it.
As for the glas; polywatch; and a replacement doesn't cost you a fortune.
