How does one make normcore look, for lack of a better word, more contrived? A red/white shirt, stonewash jeans, and some canvas sneakers works, but I blend in too much. Need I incorporate interesting muted-color sweaters and such? What do you guys think? How can I make it less bland?

That picture actually comes from the website of HI-FI FNK, a Korean brand. They do ship internationally, in case you're interested. Other than that, I think American Apparel might have a similar pair or two.

I must admit I'm not totally familiar with female fashion, you might have to do a bit of digging yourself if you want anything higher quality.
