Hey guy,
I want to start dressing more feminine. Basically, what I usually wear is: (because it's Winter in Australia)
- denim shorts
- baggy jacket
- dark crop top
- boots

i look like you're typical tumblr whore, and i just want to move away from that look and have a more girly edge.

Pom here, gotta say general Aussie fashion sense that I observed in Sydney, Melbourne and their suburbs is appalling. I get that it's hot but why is everything so loose? Why do you refuse to wear coordinated colours? You're almost as bad as Americans, guys.

provide some constructive criticism instead of just saying it's appalling. what's your ideal outfit for a girl to wear in Winter?

?
>Wear clothes that fit properly.
>Coordinate colours, factor in skin/hair tone.

In winter you can get away with loose outer layers like cardigans, jumpers and coats. Just make sure they aren't so baggy they make you look fatter than you are, which is the most common mistake Aussies make.

Keep body parts warm, exposed areas will react to the cold and build up fat reserves.

Literally just google "winter outfits" and you'll see a lot of stuff worth thinking about.

Ultimately wear what makes you happy as a big part of fashion is about how you carry yourself. Comfort =/= happiness, looking good = happiness. Ignore American and Scandinavian fashion.

>Never wear Uggs.

Oh yeah and boots (other than Uggs) are good for winter, not that it snows much down under. If you want to wear skirts wear thick tights or high socks with them so they don't have to be too long.

Jumper vests do a lot more favours for girls than guys these days. If you're gonna wear wool and have he budget go for merino. It feels/looks amazing and is light, breathable although warm and if you get a little sweaty it dries fast and fights odours.

They're not amazing, but if you're not familiar with the way Australians dress, believe me it's an improvement.

don't expect any sensible advice from /fa/, especially for females

they're just going to try to trick you out in "trill" "dope" streetwear and make you listen to kanye west and asap rocky
