Ha, yeah, EG is my favorite brand, so I have a lot actually. There are always little details that you will never see online once you handle it in person that makes their pieces incredible. The moleskin bedford has paisley liners in the sleeves, the gym pants have a crotch gusset of a contrasting material to the rest of the pants, the baseball jacket has all sorts of interesting stitchwork, hell even the vans collab are vault and feel like butter unlike normal vans.

So yes, quality is great. On par or better than pretty much any other brand I've personally handled.

They are in the mail now, so I should be receiving them by the end of the week. From what I understand, when it comes to shoes from Amadei, Carpe Diem is above and beyond the best. What I think is cool about MA+ is the replaceable soles and just the last and silhouette of the toebox. How its a little bulbous! From my little knowledge of amadei's work, I believe the construction is better in carpe diem. Depending on your shoe size you can find carpe for relatively cheap. However, if you have a shoe size bigger than 10 it'll be more difficult finding carpe in ok condition for less than 600$. Most people try to charge 1K. I think people tend to like carpe more too because of its connotation with earlier amadei. Perhaps his work was fresher at that point.

Not necessarily. A lot of the time high end small scale producers make less of a profit margin compared to mass produced mall tier clothing companies.
For one thing cost of labour is much higher in first world countries (really though, more reasonable compared to 3rd world countries) then you factor in material costs from "artisanal" producers and rare materials (e.g. crocodile leather.
