Is Cetaphil cream good a for moisturizing my face?
The first ingredients are petrolatum and dimethicone..Those things should clog the pores..

Highly refined (White Petrolatum) grades are used in pharmacy and cosmetics.
Less refined grades (Yellow, amber or brown Petrolatum) are used industrially and may contain impurities such as carcinogenic polycyclic aromatics.
Therefore, the European Union applies the risk phrase R 45 (May cause cancer) with Note N to petrolatum.
Note N reads ''the classification as a carcinogen need not apply if the full refining history is known and it can be shown that the substance from which it is produced is not a carcinogen.

Petroleum jelly (white petrolatum) used in cosmetics does NOT cause cancer, therefore. It is also one of the least comedogenic ingredients in modern skincare, and contrary to popular belief does not 'suffocate your skin' as your skin cannot breathe.

i use it and think it's alright, there hast to be better lotion out there but honestly too lazy to look bc this is p good.
sometimes makes my face a little greasy so I recommend using a little but is a good moisturizer

It's a good basic one. Adds moisture without delving into too much else.

Sure if you spend a little more and search a little more there are plenty with added benefits but provided you wash your face in the morning and at night properly I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I believe this tub is made for body lotion, the cetaphil facial moisturizer comes in actual bottles and usually has a label indicating spf protection. Been using their facial moisturizer for years and never had any problems with irritation, make sure to wash your face before applying as well.
