Beginner's guide to Loosewave/Loosewave essentials.

Shoes:

Generally the shoes don't matter, although a #minimalist white sneaker will go with most of the other essentials. Low docs are also cool if you want to step it up to the next level.

Pants:

Loose cuffed denim is a must for a loosewave wardrobe. On a budget I recommend levis 501/505, but if you want to spend a bit more money you should go for selvedge denim. APC has some great larger fits, Naked and Famous/Unbranded is alright, and Story MFG is a great choice.

Khaki chinos are also a requirement for loosewave. Gap/BR/Uniqlo/Dockers on a budget, Dana Lee is cool if you want to spend some more.

Cargo/Jogger/Flight pants are cool if you want to be a bit more interesting.

For shorts you generally want a wide fitting, sometimes cuffed short. Patagonia and Gramicci are great for this, but really most wide chino shorts will work. Jorts can be cool too.

Tops:

Tops are a bit harder to give a solid essentials list on, as there's so many different types. XL Tee shirts are always a must along with a few breton striped shirts, loose oxford cloth/denim/chambray button ups are great too. Really most things will work as long as they have that relaxed feel to them.

A large sweatshirt/hoodie is recommended for the colder months, the usual uniqlo/gap are fine, reigning champ is fine, if you want to pay more you can get some repro brand.

Jackets:

Parkas are great, large denim jackets are great, a more technical jacket can be awesome too.

Remember that loosewave doesn't really care about colors, so you can go as bright as you want or as dark as you want.

Stay chill, comfortable, and let the loosewave wash over you :)

Hey this is actually pretty good, the colours are rockin and the fit aint bad. Also you're right since the only things i'd change are shirt and shoes since the shirt seems out of place due to its formality and the shoes are a little dissonant tonally as well.

Texturally the outfit could use some diversification too since the pants / coat seem very similar, a knit is an obvious move in that case. Oversized shirts are also sick but harder to locate.
