I had some nice 360 waves before I had a cut two months ago. My hair just got long enough to start waving again. So the plan is pretty much get nicer looking waves and have them be long enough that I can just rock curls when Im out partying.

I wanted to try some sort of wave, so i got it like this... this is probably the blackest my hair's ever looked, about a year back, taken right after i got it cut. But you can see how it sticks up in some spots because any longer than this and it just curls up again so rip wave, and don't have quite the black hair or facial features to successfully pull off a wave imo

always wish i could do something with it besides letting it curl, though.

This is basically my number one problem because I have real tough and coily hair. I only wash my hair once a week with conditioner and cover it with moisturiser and oil every morning. I also wear a durag to bed, which is super helpful.
Since my hair is incredibly dry on the day that I wash it, I end my day by doing two strand twists before bed. This means my hair looks the best the next day. I just can't bring myself to do twists every day because it's just so fucking time consuming.

I've been using a relaxer called Revlon professional (regular) every 2 or 3 months for a year now and it's pretty good. People talk about the damages and how harmful it could be to your hair, but idk, my aunt has been using it for years now and not a single complaint. If you're copping and you have really short hair - let it grow, because it's better to avoid contact with the scalp. Also, read the instructions lol. I recommend it, it's pretty cheap and it works for the texture I want.
