My running clothes... I know its bad.
Shitty chinese COTTON track jacket(Only wear on cold days)
Nike BB shorts

I think i know what you're talking about(Where its just a flap sewed into the waist band, that has another piece of fabric over it to turn it into a pocket?)
Those are designed to only hold 1 key(specifically, a locker key. Though you could put a house key on it instead if you're running outside)

If i need to carry anything, i just toss it into my shitty camelback knockoff(I'm >>9886828) which has a pocket about the size of my hand. Its where i keep my phone(which i use for music with the earbuds) and a granola bar, a few cables, keys, and my wallet.

Its 1000x better than having them in my jacket pockets which arnt secure anyway, as it holds it close to my core and does not mess with weight balance.

They're fine for when you're in the gym, but you're right, for running they suck. I do have a pair of mondetta shorts, though, that have a small zipper pocket just above the butt. Depends on distance and intensity. High intensity running builds muscle usually, cz you're mainly recruiting fast twitch muscles (think sprinters)

Long distance runners tend to be very light and quite skinny, mainly cz its an endurance sport and your muscles are under constant stress for longer periods.

Thats the extremes. Running helps me think more clearly and get my mind off stress and work. Also it means less time spent doing nothing/lounging around, and less time wasting my life in some image board

You should probably know that there was a study a few years back that found runners in brand new, top of the line running shoes were 123% more likely to get injured than those in a old, trusty pair of running shoes.
I'm pretty sure that I'm not talking out of my ass here, I'll try and find the study. I know it is actually true for my girlfriend and I though. She went to one of those shoe fitting places and forked out for a brand new pair of Nikes while I still run in my year old, hand me down pair of Asics. Of course, but don't get taken in that more expensive means better. Often a shoe that is low to medium price range will actually be a more supportive shoe than and high range shoe.
When I have had to buy a new pair I will try on various low to medium range shoes that feel supportive by hand and then just feel what they're like walking in store. For around the last 7 or 8 years I've ran 15-20km 3 times a week and have never had a pair of shoes that have cost more than £45 new. Then again I usually run barefoot on beaches so that might be cheating shoe-wise
Also many companies that use those running machines and various equipment will be paid more by high end companies for selling their shoe so the sales assistant will try and sell you the more expensive shoe.
