This is your personal opinion though.
Hadid is a creative genius on her field and her designs are what the masses define as "contemporary".
I respect her and I'm not on the position to judge. I see architecture as art and you know there is no better or worse in art. You can't say Michaelangelo is better than Van Gogh or Basquiat is better than Warhol. It's just art. Same applies to fashion. There is no scale and not a definition of good aesthetic, get over it. I've seen people here claiming Rick Owens is better than Raf Simons and Yohji Yamamoto better than Martin Margiela. Based on what criteria do you judge?

btw Hadid's aesthetic doesn't appeal to me as avant-garde but her designs are aesthetically pleasing

So it's nothing but Gant, Morris, Hollister and occasional Stone Island (the most bland pieces though) faux preppy fuckery around here. I don't really rub shoulders with those people at all (and by that I mean I don't speak to most of those shits unless I need something from them) but apparently we are best fucking friends every time I meet them drunk in a local student pub. As you say, architecture is not a static field, as art and practicality goes hand in hand with very different processes. BUT it a defining factor of architecture how you inhabit space and Hadid isn't particularly known for contextual analysis, as for defining form of her 'Alien' architecture. Her work never seems never to grab hold of the surrounding context or define an atmosphere of the area. Same with Frank Gehry, but alas, his work is definitely more sculptural.

There is definitely a scale of good aesthetics. As how you use material, and what the purpose of the art or architecture in this instant tries to convey, and express through the visual aesthetics and the references of the work. Its pretty stupid not to value the appearance of the art/architecture/design in what it actually tries to do, and compare it to works with the same purpose or narrative.

Useless might be a bit harsh of a word, but like a lot of design orientated degrees, you will likely be forced to do a lot of freelance (indie) work before actually enjoying job security with a large game design firm. That does not appeal to me at all.

Maybe combine it so it has employable value, and the most likely thing is that you're not garbage at math, just another unfortunate case of having a garbage upbringing in math.

There are plenty of people that I've taught math to that could have easily been great mathematicians, or at least "not bad at math" if they were brought up on it better.
Being great at math really requires a strong basis + confidence.
